Flexibility where it matters · Structure where you need it
The League
Your league shouldn’t depend on everyone being free at 5pm Tuesday.
Set it up once. Members play their matches whenever they can get out — no reschedules, no chasing RSVPs.
| # | Player | Played | PTS |
|---|---|---|---|

Every posted match updates the table instantly.
The Tournament
When another club challenges you, you already know who to send.
Your in-club results track who’s winning all season — so picking the team that represents your club is a glance, not a guess.
| # | Player | HCP | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | R. Calloway | 16.4 | 3 | 1 | 2 |
| 2 | T. Maddox | 6.1 | 2 | 3 | 1 |

Medals earned across every inter-club event, all season — for years. Handicap doesn’t predict who’s on top.
Flexibility where it matters, structure where you need it
Flexible on when
Leagues, on your members’ schedule.
Most league tools — and every spreadsheet-and-group-text setup — are built around the event: everyone shows up at a fixed time, or the week falls apart. We removed the event. Your league is a standing pool of opponents and a points structure; members settle their matches whenever both players can get out. The software tracks who’s played whom and keeps the standings live. There’s no calendar to manage, because there’s nothing to schedule.
Flexible on the game
Tournaments, when you want the big day.
When you do want a fixed event — a Saturday at a different course, a real registration deadline, a perpetual leaderboard — the tournament module handles it end to end: registration, results entry, automatic points. Here the flexibility lives in the play itself: players choose their own game format.
Everything in one place
Live standings
Every posted match updates the league table instantly. No one maintaining a spreadsheet.
Every game your members play
Match, Stroke, Stableford, Nassau, Scramble, 4-Ball, and Skins — all in one place. Match-play and Nassau results score themselves the moment they're entered.
Built-in member comms
Text and email your whole league, or a single tournament's field, from inside the platform.
Phone-number login, no passwords
Members sign in with their phone. Nothing to remember, nothing to reset.
Three doors, one engine
League Manager
Run the league, not your weekends.
If you're the one keeping the standings, herding the signups, and answering 'who am I playing this week,' this gives you that time back. Set it up once and it runs itself: members find their opponents, post their results, and watch the leaderboard.
For the Club
Members who play together, stay.
A club's hardest problem isn't filling a tee sheet — it's keeping members year after year. People renew when they feel they belong, and belonging is built by showing up and competing alongside the same faces. Take away the scheduling friction that keeps people home, give them a live leaderboard worth chasing, and you get more members playing together, more often.
For Companies
Bring the company league back.
Companies used to run golf leagues. Then work went remote and the standing Thursday foursome disappeared. But what those leagues did — get colleagues to know each other as people — still matters. Club Golf League brings it back in a form that fits how people work now: no fixed day, no single course, no one stuck running it. Employees play whoever they can, wherever they are, whenever they can — and it runs almost entirely on its own.
Why it beats the manual stack
About
I built Club Golf League because I spent two years running the golf league at the University Club of Chicago — and I loved the golf, but not the administration. The events that drew a handful of players. The members who never quite played together. The standings I kept by hand.
I’ve believed one thing since I was a kid reading the sports pages before anything else in the paper: a leaderboard makes people show up. Report the standings, and behavior changes — people play, they compete, and they build the bonds that keep a club strong. That’s what I set out to build.
Club Golf League is built by Element 46, my Chicago software firm that has spent more than a decade building secure identity and data systems for large organizations. So the technology stays solid and out of the way — and the golf stays the point.
